PRIVACY POLICY: At Mtn
View Aviation, your privacy is a top priority. Our only goal in
collecting personal information from you is to provide you with a
smooth, efficient, and customized experience while using our services.
When you shop on our site, we collect personal information from you such
as your name, e-mail address, billing address, shipping address,
telephone number, product selections, credit card or other payment
types.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to others. We use
customer information we collect only for the purposes of filling orders,
contacting purchasers to inform them of their order status, sending
promotional information (only if requested), enhancing the operation of
our site, for statistical purposes and to administer our systems. We may
use third parties to help us fulfill orders, to help process payments,
to provide customer service, to serve site content, help administer
promotional emails, and to administer drawings or contests. Our computer
system protects personal information using advanced firewall technology.
Customer order information, credit card information and phone numbers
are used to process the orders only. In the event that you are
purchasing for someone else and wish the item (or items) to be sent
directly to the recipient, then other information will need to be
submitted on that person: Name, address, and phone number. This
information will also be held confidential, to be shared with outside
parties only as necessary to complete the order. At no time will
information be kept on those customers that have not placed an order
themselves.
HOW TO ACCESS OR CORRECT YOUR
INFORMATION: If, at any time, you wish to review, change or
remove your information from our data banks, you need only have to
contact us over the phone at (800) 837-0271 and it will be done. When
contacting us to change your information, we will require that you are
able to site the phone number or zip code from the billing information
from your last order as a method of authentication. Once authentication
has been completed then we will change any information that you request.
No changes to information will be executed from an e-mail, since their
origin can not be confirmed and they will not be secure.
PRICING ERRORS: We
reserve the right not to sell a product when that product's price is
erroneously or mistakenly input into our web site. Be assured that we
will contact you should this happen with your order and that we will
attempt to grant you, at the best of our ability, some form of
consideration should you find yourself with a defective price. We will
contact you when this occurs, before your order is processed.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY:
We guarantee that you will be able to use your credit card securely
while placing an order with Mtn View Aviation. We use the latest
browser encryption technologies, which provides the highest level of
security currently available and insures secure transactions. All
important and private financial & personal information is encrypted
before it is transmitted to us. Encrypted personal information can not
be read or recorded as it is being transmitted over the internet. Be
assured that at no time will your credit card information be shared with
any outside party. Also, your card will not be charged until your order
ships complete.
Credit card receipts and statements will
indicate Mtn View Aviation.
CHARGEBACK POLICY:
If a chargeback request is initiated by the customer (i.e. the customer
claims to not recognize the charge on their statement and asks his/her
credit card company to reverse the charge), and the request is later
reversed in favor of Mtn View Aviation, a $10.00 fee will be charged to
the customer. This fee is generated by the bank to investigate the
chargeback request, and is initially charged to Mtn View Aviation - in
the event of a reversal, this fee will be paid by the customer.
RETURN
POLICY:
All
returns or exchanges must be completed within 30-days of original
shipping date - please contact us prior to returning an item. All items
must be new, unused and in the original box and packaging. When
returning or exchanging items for reasons other than defectiveness (i.e.
the customer changes their mind, or an item is purchased for the wrong
aircraft application), the shipping cost will be paid for by the
customer. If the product is defective, Mtn View Aviation will pay for a
round trip shipment of the product from you to us and then return.
SHIPPING INFORMATION:
On the website we give you the choice for 2 Day or Ground Shipment
deliveries to
U.S.
DESTINATIONS ONLY!
The shipping agents we use are the United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal
Express, and the United States Postal Service (USPS). We can ship by
other methods including next day and international. You must contact us
by telephone at 1-800-837-0271 for alternate shipping methods and costs.
NOTE: Shipping
costs are subject to change! You will be notified as soon as possible if
an increase in cost applies to your order.
When choosing a shipping method.... Delivery times are calculated in
BUSINESS days. Weekends, holidays and the day of shipment do not count
towards the delivery time. (i.e. if we ship a 2nd day air package on
Friday, the arrival will be the following Tuesday, and overnight orders
that ship on Friday will be delivered the following Monday.)
***Please note, UPS does not guarantee Residential Next Day
deliveries!!! No refunds are provided for next day charges to
residential addresses.
Any order placed after 12:00 p.m. on Friday will be shipped the
following non-holiday Monday (this applies to all shipping services
EXCEPT for United States Postal Service).
UPS will not ship to PO Boxes, so please use a physical street address.
For Alaska and Hawaii residents, UPS Ground is NOT an option and cannot
be calculated - only air freight can be chosen.
Mtn View Aviation is based in Mid-Willamette Valley, Oregon, so choose
your shipping times accordingly. Remember ground shipping to anywhere
west of the Rockies is usually 1-3 days. If you absolutely need it by a
certain day then choose one of the air services. Orders that are refused
on delivery will be charged the original shipping plus return shipping
to us.
